REVIEWS
We had difficulty finding the group as the library had no information on the class. George was extremely nice and I enjoyed seeing his paintings. His tips on painting were good, but I need a step-by-step teaching approach.

The event location was incredible. I loved having the class overlooking the Mississippi River. greeted us warmly and came prepared with easels, extra paints, brushes, and mixing pallets. He guided us to sketch the view and helped us pick out the appropriate colors for our painting. He gave us the time to independently work on our projects with his guidance. His suggestions and encouragement were perfect. We left with a new interest and love of painting.

I'm 81 and have never painted or sketched until Oct '24 when I thought I would try it, age 80. Surprised myself. Been painting every day since then. Been talking about it for 15 years. Finally followed my wife's advice to just try. She bought brushes, paints and paper to encourage me. I finally took her advice. WS, NC 27107

Title or Location: Island Sunset
This 9x12 watercolor was inspired by a photograph of the Turks and Caicos Islands at sunset where she was recently visiting. Plam trees dominate tge scene overlaying the bushes with a peek of the cabanas and calm ocean in the background. You see the sky at sunset with dark rainclouds on the horizon. I painted this piece to exemplify atmospheric landscapes with both energy and tranquility,
